Appian has an immediate need for upbeat, focused individuals to handle lead generation, conduct cold/warm prospecting and qualify sales opportunities for Sales Department. Position offers an attractive base and incentive bonus package that includes quarterly bonuses and competitive benefits.
Job Description:
|
Manage territory resulting in qualified leads to the sales organization. Qualify sales leads generated by phone, internet marketing, demos, webinars, trade shows, industry and target account lists. Proactively develop potential sales leads by outbound cold calling. |
|
Take leads generated through marketing activity and develop them into viable prospects. |
|
Execute lead generation programs to increase attendance at upcoming events, seminars, and to create awareness for current product promotions. |
|
Meet quarterly revenue goals. |
|
Develop comprehensive knowledge of BPM industry and Appian AE. |
|
Maintain the Sales Force Automation database to track daily and weekly sales activities. |
Qualifications:

Detail-oriented; superior organizational skills. |

Positive attitude; entrepreneurial spirit. |
|
Bachelor's degree required; in Marketing or Business Administration preferred. |
|
Excellent work ethic and interpersonal skills. |
|
Exceptional intelligence, problem solving skills, and ability to learn quickly. |
|
Interest in Sales and Marketing. |
|
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. |
|
Excellent verbal and written skills. |
|
Excellent phone/email presence and interpersonal skills. |
|
Experience with sales automation systems helpful. |
