I came on board as an Associate Consultant and was immediately given the trust and responsbility to successfully deliver on critical projects. I was later able to move into Presales consulting and work with clients in a blended sales, marketing and consulting role - solving business and technical problems across multiple verticals. I now enjoy being given the responsibility to work with and influence C-business level executives and other key decision makers to show them how Appian's software suite will help solve their business problems. What I like best about my work is that I get to solve new business problems everyday and help our clients earn real benefits and ROI. The opportunity to work with Appian's extensive federal, civilian government as well as commerical client base also allows me to constantly learn new things. Two exciting things about working at Appian right now is firstly - the market we are in. Business Process Management (BPM) has been identified as the second fastest growing segment in the software industry and it is a great opportunity to be a part of that growth. And secondly - the position Appian has earned. Being identified as a visionary and a leader by the analysts in this space we entered not too long ago is a testament to the types of skill and talent that makes Appian enormously successful. A great work environment with lots of outside-work activities is an added bonus.
